Management

Alister Mutugi Murimi, Director Corporate Real Estate Services
MISK, Registered Valuer and Estate Agent

Alister is a founding director of Ark Consultants Limited and he is in charge of Corporate Real Estate Services. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (Construction and Real Estate) from Reading University, UK (2006), RICS Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from College of Estate Management, UK (2006), Bachelors Degree in Land Economics from University of Nairobi (1996) and is a full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (2001), Registered Valuer (2002), and Registered Estate Agent (2002). He is currently pursuing membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Alister has accumulated over over 16 years experience in Real Estate and Construction sectors. He is widely exposed in property, facilities and project management as well as site acquisition for GSM networks while working at GIMCO (1996 to 2000), GIMCO Africa (2000 to 2002) and CBRE (2002 to 2004). He has been in charge of management of various commercial, industrial and residential property portfolios both in Kenya and Tanzania. Currently Alister is the Chairman of the Kenya Real Estate Index Association a non profit organization spearheading Kenya's efforts to develop a Real Property Index. Alister is married with one child.

Timothy Parsaloi Saruni, Director Valuation and Advisory Services

Timothy "Parsa" is a founding Managing Director of Ark Consultants and he is in charge Valuation of Advisory Services. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Land Economics (1996), is a full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya, a Registered Valuer and Registered Estate Agent. Timothy has accumulated over 16 years experience in Assets Valuation and Agency. He has been a team leader in various valuation assignments while at Lloyd Masika (1996 to 2004) and CB Richard Ellis (2003 to 2004) that included the valuation of commercial, industrial, residential and agricultural properties for various purposes which include sale, purchase, tax, book, dispute resolution, insurance, mergers and mortgage. Timothy is a members of the Old Starehian Society a Starehe Boys Center old boys Association, where he has served as a secretary (2004 to 2005). Parsa is married with two children.

Reginald Okumu, Director Agency and Broking Services

Reggie is a founding Director of Ark consultants and he is in charge of Agency and Broking services. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Land Economics (1995), is a full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya, a Registered Valuer and Registered Estate Agent. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Valuation and Property Management at the University of Nairobi. Reggie has accumulated over 16 years in Agency (Site Acquisition, Sales and Leasing) and Assets valuation. He is widely exposed in Agency and Valuations and has been a team leader in sales, leasing, site acquisition and valuation assignments while at Metrocosmo (1996 to 1997), Lloyd Masika (1997 to 2001), Tysons Limited (2001 to 2003) and CB Richard Ellis (2003 to 2004). Reggie is a former Chairman of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya where he served 2 terms (2005-2007). He sits in the Board of National Housing Corporation and has written and presented articles and papers on various topics on the wider subject of real estate and human settlements. Reggie played a leading role in the formation of Kenya Real Estate Index Association (Krex), a non profit organization spearheading the formation of Kenya's Real Estate Index. He is the convener of the technical working group of Krex. Reggie is married with two children.
